Das Bauvorhaben Bad Karlshafen ist eines der besonderen Art, denn hier wurde die neue Brücke neben die Alte gebaut.
Dies erspart den Bewohnern eine monatelange Sperre der Brücke die die Innenstadt mit dem anderen Weserufer verbindet.
Um die neue Brücke nun auf die ihren alten Stammplatz mit neu hergestellten Wiederlagern und Pfeilern zu versetzen wurde die Brücke querverschoben.
Ein Vorhaben für das 5 Stunden angesetzt waren und das auch für einen erfahrenen Bauleiter kein alltägliches Unternehmen ist.
Dennoch konnten auf Grund guter Planung und dem reibungslosen Zusammenspiel aller Beteiligten Fußgänger und Radfahrer schon am Abend wieder den Fluss queren.
